1)The first president was George Washington.He was also the role of natinal goverment.In 1789-1797 he was the first president the united states.AS the united states first Presidents he knew from the beginning that he would set the precedence of what the u.s. would becomem like.

2)The second president was John Adams.He was the second president from 1789-1801.John Adams was really smart and was graduated from Harvard as a Lawyer.He is very important to us because he is the study for the second president of the u.s..He served on the committee that drafted the Declaration of Independence and then helped persuade the Second Continental Congress to adopt the declaration.He is also one of the great figures in American history because before the American Revolution he joined with other patriots in resisting British rule.That is how important he is to us.


3)The third president was Thomas Jefferson from 1801-1809.He was also very important to us because he wrote the Declaration of Independence (document that is leading oue state now).As president, his most significant accomplishment was to purchase the Louisiana Territory from France. That territory included what is basically the central third of what is now the continental United States. At one stroke it doubled the size of the country.

4)The fourthpresident was James Madison,He was considered as the Father of the Constitution And had helped to frame the bill of Rights.
He played the leading role in formulating the U.S. Constitution, and he was its leading defender and interpreter for 50 years.but he is important because he was forced to declare war on the british, so he changed it to have fewer battles were fought.and he is also important for the courage that was needed to display to the world that the U.S. was strong and would notbe pushed around.

5)The fifth president was James Monroe.He was a man of great ambition and energy emulated during his presidency.Monroe's public career was shaped by three great influences: the American Revolution; the principles of the Republican party, which he helped found; and his diplomatic experiences.But he was very important to us because stressing the concept of limited government and strict construction of the U.S. Constitution.That is how important he is to us.
